Gothic architecture in modern Poland

Gothic architecture is a really old style of building things that was popular a long, long time ago, like hundreds and hundreds of years ago. In Poland today, you can still see some really beautiful buildings that were built in this style a long time ago.

One of the things that makes Gothic buildings special is their tall and pointy shapes. They also have really pretty decorations on the outside, like carvings of flowers, animals, and people. These decorations are called "ornamentation."

Back when Gothic buildings were first being built in Poland, people didn't have as much technology as we do today. They didn't have cranes or big trucks to help them lift heavy things, so they had to be really creative in how they built these big buildings. They had to use a lot of teamwork and strength to make sure the buildings didn't fall down.

Today, people really appreciate Gothic architecture because it reminds them of a time long ago when people worked together to make beautiful things. It's also really cool to see how they were able to build such complex and detailed buildings without all of the technology we have now.
