Government of Peru

Okay kiddo, so you know how every country needs someone to make sure things work smoothly, right? That person or group of people is called the government.

Now, let's talk about the government of Peru. Peru is a country in South America, and like other countries, it has its own government.

The government of Peru is made up of three branches: the executive, legislative, and judicial branches.

The executive branch in Peru is led by the President, who is the head of the government. The President makes sure that the laws passed by the legislative branch are enforced, and they're like the boss of the country.

The legislative branch is made up of people called congressmen and congresswomen who make the laws for the country. At the moment, there are 130 members of Congress in Peru.

Lastly, there's the judicial branch which is responsible for making sure that people follow the laws passed by Congress. They are the ones who decide whether someone is guilty or not guilty when they are accused of breaking a law.

That's a simplified explanation of the government in Peru. Do you have any questions?
