Government of the Aztec Empire
The Aztec Empire was a group of people who lived in Central America a long time ago. They had a government that was kind of like a big team, where each person had a job they had to do to help make their society run.
At the very top was the emperor, who was like the boss of everything. Below him were some important people who helped him make decisions and keep everyone safe. They were kind of like the assistant bosses.
There were also people who helped keep the city clean and safe, and people who were like teachers who taught the kids how to do things like farm and weave cloth. There were even people who wrote books and knew how to read and write!
Every Aztec person had a role to play in their society, and they all had to work together to make sure things ran smoothly. It was like they were all part of a big puzzle, and if one piece was missing, the whole puzzle wouldn't work.
