Grandmaster's Palace in Valletta

Hi there! The Grandmaster's Palace is a very special building in the city of Valletta, which is on an island called Malta. It is a big, fancy building that used to be the home of the leader of the island, called the Grandmaster.

Long, long time ago, when Malta was ruled by a special order of knights, called the Knights of St. John, they built the palace as their headquarters. The knights were a bit like superheroes - they were really brave and fought for justice and peace.

The palace is made of stone and has lots of big rooms inside. It has beautiful decorations, like paintings and sculptures, and there are even secret rooms that the knights used to use to hide treasure or plan secret missions.

Today, the Grandmaster's Palace is used for very important events, like when important people come to visit the island or when important decisions need to be made. It's kind of like a castle for grown-ups!
