Grandmother cell

A grandmother cell is a type of brain cell in our brain. Grandmother cells are special because they help us recognize people like our grandmothers! The way they do this is by storing information about them in our brain so that we can remember them easily and recognize them when we see them. Grandmother cells help us connect the people that we love to the memories we have of them.
