Graphical Evaluation and Review Technique (GERT) is a way of looking at how different tasks are related and understanding how long it will take to complete a project. GERT uses a diagram to show how the tasks are connected and how long each one will take to finish. By understanding these connections, it is possible to get a better estimate on how much time it will take to complete a project. GERT diagrams look like a flowchart, with each step of the project written down in a box with lines connecting the boxes to show the order of the tasks.
