Grapple (tool)

A grapple is a tool used to pick up things that are too heavy or difficult to move with your hands. It looks like a big metal claw with long arms that can be opened and closed. Think of it like a giant version of the claw you use to grab toys in an arcade game.

To use a grapple, you attach it to a machine like a crane or excavator. Then you use the machine to move the grapple around and position it over what you want to pick up. When the grapple is in the right spot, you use the machine to close the arms of the grapple and grip onto the item. The grapple holds onto the item tightly so it won't fall or slip.

Grapples are often used on construction sites or when moving big piles of material like rocks, logs or debris. They can also be used to clear away things that aren't supposed to be in a certain area, like trash or fallen trees after a storm.

Overall, a grapple is a pretty cool tool that helps people move heavy stuff around easily and safely!
