ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Grasping the large, letting go of the small

Okay, imagine you have two buckets - a big one and a small one.

In life, we often hold onto things that are not very important or that don't bring us much joy. These things are like the small bucket. They take up space and weigh us down, but they don't really add much value to our lives.

On the other hand, there are things that are really important and bring us a lot of happiness and fulfillment. These things are like the big bucket. They are the things that matter most to us, and they make life worth living.

So, when we talk about "grasping the large, letting go of the small," we mean that we should focus on the things that are really important to us - the big bucket - and let go of the things that don't matter as much - the small bucket.

This might mean letting go of old grudges or resentments, decluttering our homes or our schedules, or even just saying goodbye to people or situations that no longer serve us. By doing this, we make more space for the things that really matter, and we can live more fully and happily.

So, to sum up: Keep the big bucket, let go of the small bucket!
