Grass-fed beef

Okay kiddo, let's talk about grass-fed beef. You know how cows like to eat grass right? Well, when we say beef is "grass-fed," that means the cows that were used to make the beef were given grass to eat for their whole lives.

Why does this matter? Well, some farmers give their cows other things to eat besides grass, like corn or soybeans. This can make the cows grow faster and bigger, but it's not always the healthiest way to feed them.

When cows eat only grass, they are getting all the nutrients they need from a natural source. This can make them healthier, and it can also make the beef they produce healthier for us to eat. Grass-fed beef tends to have more Omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins like A and E, which are good for our bodies.

So, if you see beef labeled as "grass-fed" at the store or at a restaurant, it means that the cows were eating grass and nothing else. And that can be a good thing for our health and the environment!
