Graston Technique

The Graston Technique is a type of therapy that helps your body feel better. It's kind of like a massage, but instead of using hands or tools, your doctor will use special metal tools on your skin to rub and scrape your muscles and tissue.

It sounds maybe a little bit scary or painful, but it's not! The tools are smooth, and the doctor will use a special lotion on your skin to help the tools slide easily. When the tools rub against your skin, they help break up anything that might be stuck in your muscles or tissue, like scar tissue or knots.

When you have something stuck in your muscles or tissue, it can feel pretty yucky. You might feel pain or tightness, and it can be hard to move around or do the things you love. But the Graston Technique can help your body feel better, so you can run and play and have fun again without feeling yucky!
