Gravedigger

Okay kiddo, so you know how when someone dies, they're usually buried in a special place called a cemetery? Well, a gravedigger is the person who digs the hole in the ground where the person's body will be put to rest. They use a big shovel to dig the hole and make sure it's deep enough for the casket to fit inside. Sometimes, they might have to use a special machine called a backhoe to dig really big holes. Once the hole is ready, the gravedigger will help lower the casket down into it very carefully. After that, they'll cover up the hole with dirt and make sure the area looks nice for people who come to visit the person who passed away. It's a really important job, because it helps give people a place to remember their loved ones and say goodbye. Does that make sense, kiddo?
