Grease pencil

Okay kiddo, have you ever seen your teacher use a whiteboard marker to write on the board in class? Well, a grease pencil is kind of like that, but it's used on different surfaces like glass, metal or even plastic.

It's called a "grease" pencil because it has a waxy texture that makes it easy to write on these surfaces without rubbing off. It's also called a "china marker" or "wax pencil" sometimes.

So, let's say you have a piece of glass and you want to write on it, but a regular marker won't work. You can use a grease pencil instead! And the best part is, if you make a mistake, you can just wipe it away with a cloth and start over.

Some people also use grease pencils for marking things like measurements on fabrics or labeling jars and containers. It's really handy to have around!
