Great Lakes Invitational

Hi there little buddy! So, the Great Lakes Invitational is a special ice hockey tournament that happens every year around the holidays. It's like a big party where four different teams come together and play against each other for a really cool trophy.

The tournament takes place in Michigan at a place called Little Caesars Arena, which is a ginormous building where lots of people go to watch hockey games. People from all over Michigan come to watch the games and cheer on their favorite team.

Each team that plays in the Great Lakes Invitational gets to play two games against two different teams. The team that wins the most out of their two games gets to go to the championship game to compete for the trophy.

The teams that are in the tournament are usually college teams from Michigan and other states nearby. It's really exciting to see all these talented young players skating around and trying to score goals. And the good news is, even if your favorite team doesn't win, everyone who goes to the tournament gets to have a lot of fun and enjoy some yummy food and drinks.

So, that's what the Great Lakes Invitational is all about, a special ice hockey tournament where teams compete, and lots of people come to watch and cheer. Pretty cool, huh?!
