The Greatest Generation refers to the people who were born and grew up during the time of the great depression and fought in World War II. They are considered great because they lived through tough times and had to work very hard to survive. They were also very brave and selfless as they fought for their country in the war. They did many important things that helped make the world a better place, and we can learn a lot from them.
