Green energy is energy from sources that are clean and renewable. That means it won't run out and won't cause harm to the environment like pollution. Examples of green energy include wind, water, and solar power. Wind power is made by building big windmills and capturing the energy created by the wind. Water power is when the energy of rivers, oceans and tides are used to generate electricity. Solar power uses energy from the sun which can be collected using special panels that look like big mirrors. The energy from all these sources can be used to power our homes, schools and businesses.
