ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Green national product

Green National Product (GNP) is a way to measure the economic health of a country. It is different from other measurements, like Gross Domestic Product (GDP), because it includes how much energy a country is using and how clean the energy is. GNP also includes how much pollution a country is making. GNP tries to measure a country's economic success, but also takes into account how healthy the environment is in that country.
