Grid tie inverter

Have you ever seen a solar power system on the roof of a house? That's a system that can produce electricity using energy from the sun. But sometimes, the system can produce more electricity than what the house needs.

A grid tie inverter is a special piece of equipment that helps connect this solar power system to the electricity grid, which is a big network of power lines and power plants that provides electricity to homes and buildings.

The grid tie inverter helps the excess electricity from the solar system flow back into the electricity grid. It does this by converting the DC (direct current) electricity produced by the solar panels into AC (alternating current) electricity needed by the grid.

When the solar system produces more electricity than the house is using, the grid tie inverter sends that extra electricity into the grid. The electricity grid then distributes the power to other buildings nearby that need it.

So, the grid tie inverter helps people save money on their electricity bills and also helps reduce the amount of greenhouse gas emissions that come from burning fossil fuels to produce electricity.
