Groundwater banking

Groundwater banking is like a bank where you can save water. It's like a savings account but instead of money, you save water! The water is stored in the ground in a large area called an aquifer. Just like you can go to the bank and add money to your savings account, companies (or farmers) can add water to the aquifer. When you need money from your savings account, you can go to the bank and take it out. Similarly, when a company (or farmer) needs water, they can go to the aquifer and take the water out. It's a great way to store water and make sure that you always have enough, even during dry times.
