ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Group buying

Group buying is when a lot of people want to buy the same thing, and they all decide to buy it together.

For example, let's say you and your friends all really like ice cream. You want to buy a lot of ice cream, but it's too expensive to buy by yourself. But if you and your friends all agree to buy the ice cream together, then you can get a lot more ice cream for the same price, because you are all sharing the cost.

This is called group buying. It's like a team effort to get the best deal possible. And the more people who participate, the better the deal can be.

Group buying can be done for all sorts of things, not just ice cream. People can get together and buy tickets to a concert, a group can book a vacation together, or people can buy a bunch of products from a shop at a discounted price.

The main idea is that by pooling your resources and working together, you can get better deals on the things you want.
