ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Group entity

Okay kiddo, a group entity is like having a big family. You know how in your family you have a mom, dad, and siblings? They are all part of your family group. In the same way, a group entity is a group of companies that work together and are kind of like a big family of businesses.

This group is usually made up of different companies that have something in common, like they might be in the same industry or have similar products or services. The companies in the group entity work together to help each other out and make the group stronger overall.

For example, if one company in the group entity has a surplus of products, they might sell some of those products to another company in the group who needs them. This helps both companies because the one with too much product gets to sell it, and the one with not enough product gets what they need.

So basically, a group entity is just a bunch of companies working together like a big family to help each other out and be stronger together.
