Guitar

Guitars are stringed instruments. They have strings that you pluck (pick or strum) with your fingers or a pick. When you pluck the strings, it vibrates and makes a sound. The different strings have different pitches (how high or low the sound is). You can also change the pitch of the strings by pressing down on them at certain points on the fretboard. Fretboards are the long thin part at the top of the guitar.
