Guru yoga is a practice in Buddhism where you focus your attention, or meditate, on your spiritual teacher or guru. The goal is to use the guru's wisdom and teachings to grow spiritually and in wisdom. To practice guru yoga, you first find a spiritual teacher that you respect and admire, and then you visualize them in your mind, as if they were sitting right in front of you. As you do this, you focus on their teachings and imagine that you are receiving their guidance and wisdom. Finally, you connect your heart to their teachings. As you practice guru yoga, you may begin to feel a deeper connection with your teacher and more peace and understanding in your life.
