Gyuto Order

Okay, so imagine you're playing with a puzzle and you need to put all the pieces in order. Sometimes, when we order things, we want them to go from smallest to biggest or from A to Z. Similar to a puzzle, people who work in a kitchen need to have their tools, such as knives, in order too.

A gyuto is a special type of knife that chefs use in Japan to cut food. To make sure the knives are all in order and to know which ones are which, some chefs label them with numbers or letters. That way, they know which knife to use for each type of food!

So, when a chef needs a new gyuto knife, they might order it from a special store that sells knives. They will tell the store which number or letter they want and the store will make sure to send the correct knife. This is called a gyuto order!
