ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

HILASTDRIVE (CONFIG.SYS directive)

Hilastdrive is a special computer instruction that tells the computer which disk drive to use as the last drive.

Imagine you have a toy box with many compartments. Each compartment is like a disk drive on your computer. Hilastdrive tells your computer which compartment to use as the very last one.

So, if you have a toy that you want to put away in the toy box, but you don't know where, hilastdrive tells you where the last compartment of the toy box is located. This way, you can put the toy in the last compartment and be sure where it is.

In computer terms, this means that if you have multiple disk drives on your computer, hilastdrive helps your computer know which drive to use as the very last one. This way, you can save or access files in the last drive without any confusion.
