Okay kiddo, so imagine there was a big and strong ship named HMHS Britannic. It was built a long time ago, almost 100 years ago, and it was even bigger than the famous Titanic!
The job of the Britannic was to take care of people who were hurt or sick, like a big hospital on the water. It also helped bring soldiers and supplies to places where they were needed during a big war called World War I.
Now, one day something very unfortunate happened. The Britannic hit a big mine at the bottom of the sea and it started to sink. But, because the people on board had learned a lot from the previous tragedy of the Titanic, they were able to use lifeboats and other ways to escape safely.
Even though the ship sank, people were still able to learn from what happened and make other ships even safer. So, even though it was a sad situation, good things were able to come out of it.
