ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

HTTP 302

A 302 is like when you go to the store to buy candy, but the store doesn't have the candy you want. The store person tells you to go to another store to find the candy you want. So you leave the store and go to the other store to find your candy. This is similar to when you type in a website address, but the website isn't there. But instead of saying "sorry, the website isn't here," the website tells your computer to go to another website to find what you're looking for. This is called a 302 redirect.
