Hagen–Rubens relation

Okay kiddo, do you know what lightning is? It's a spark that happens in the sky when there's a lot of electricity around. Well, sometimes there's also electricity in things that we can't see, like radio waves.

The hagen-rubens relation is a way to measure how well something can conduct (or carry) electricity, even if we can't see the electricity. It's like if you had a lot of ants carrying food from one place to another - it tells you how many ants can carry how much food.

When things conduct electricity, they give off energy in the form of light. That's why light bulbs work - they use electricity to make light. The hagen-rubens relation helps us predict how much light a material will give off when we put electricity through it.

So if we know how well something can conduct electricity with the hagen-rubens relation, we can use it to make better electronic devices like phones, computers, and TVs. Cool, huh?
