Hai San

Hey kiddo! Do you know what seafood is? It's basically any kind of food that comes from the water, like fish or shellfish. Hai San is the word for seafood in Vietnamese. People in Vietnam love their seafood because they live close to the ocean and there are many different types of seafood to try.

There are lots of different kinds of hai san, like crab, shrimp, squid, mussels, and many more! Some are big and some are small, some are slimy and some are crunchy. People cook hai san in lots of different ways, like grilling them over a fire, frying them in oil, or boiling them in a soup. Some people even eat the seafood raw, like sushi or sashimi.

But we have to be careful when we eat hai san. Some seafood can be dangerous if it's not cooked properly, and others can be harmful if they have too much mercury in them. That's why it's important to buy seafood from a safe and reliable source, and to cook it well before we eat it.

So kiddo, that's what hai san is all about. Delicious seafood that people love to eat in Vietnam, but we have to be careful and make sure it's safe to eat!
