Hall probe

Okay kiddo, a hall probe is a special tool that scientists use to measure magnetic fields. A magnetic field is like an invisible force that can pull on things that are made of metal, like paperclips or magnets.

The hall probe looks like a small stick with a wire at the end of it. Scientists put the end of the wire near the thing that they want to measure the magnetic field of. When they turn on the hall probe, it sends electricity through the wire.

As the electricity moves through the wire, it interacts with the magnetic field around the object. This causes a tiny voltage to be created in the wire.

The hall probe can measure that voltage and use it to figure out how strong the magnetic field is. It's a really helpful tool for scientists who want to study magnets, electric motors, or other things that have magnetic fields.

So, that's a hall probe! It's like a magical stick that can measure invisible forces. Pretty cool, huh?
