Halsbury's Statutes

Halbury's Statutes are books that contain the laws of a country. They are named after Lord Halbury, the first lawyer to arrange all of the laws in the UK into one big book. The books contain the laws of England and Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and other countries as well. They are very helpful for lawyers as they can quickly look up the laws they need to know. They also help people understand what the law says so that they can know how to obey it.
