Hamilton Grange National Memorial

Hamilton Grange National Memorial is a big, old house in New York City that used to belong to a man named Alexander Hamilton. He was a very important person a long time ago, almost 200 years ago, because he helped start our country and wrote important papers that helped our government work better.

The house was built in the 1700s and moved twice so it wouldn't get destroyed. It landed in a big park called St. Nicholas Park, in a part of town called Harlem.

Now, people can visit the house and learn about Alexander Hamilton's life and how he lived in the olden days. Inside the house, there are lots of things to look at, like furniture, paintings, and letters. It's like visiting a museum, but you get to go inside a real house that someone important lived in a long time ago.
