Hanke–Henry Permanent Calendar

Okay kiddo, do you know what a calendar is? It's something we use to keep track of time. It tells us when different months and days happen.

Now, the Hanke-Henry Permanent Calendar is a special kind of calendar that some people think would be better than the one we use now.

You see, our current calendar has some problems. It doesn't divide up the days and weeks evenly, so some months have extra days and some have fewer days. And every four years, we have to add an extra day to February to make up for something called leap year.

The Hanke-Henry Permanent Calendar would solve these problems. It would have 364 days, divided into 52 weeks of seven days each. That means every month would have exactly 28 days. And there would be no need for leap year, because the extra day would be added as a special holiday between December and January.

This would make things simpler and easier to remember. No more worrying about how many days are in a particular month or when leap year happens.

However, not everyone likes the idea of changing the calendar we're used to. So for now, we'll stick with what we have. But who knows, maybe someday we'll switch to the Hanke-Henry Permanent Calendar!
