Hans Peter Luhn was a very smart man who lived a long time ago and he invented something called the "keyword" system. Imagine you have a big pile of papers and you want to find one specific paper really quickly. You can write down a special word on the top of each paper that describes what's inside of it. Then, when you want to find that paper, you can look at all the words and find the one that matches what you're looking for. Hans Peter Luhn thought of this idea but for computers! He figured out how to make the computer label information with special words, called keywords, so you can search for it really fast. It's like a secret code that helps computers understand what words mean so they can work better. Today, we still use this "keyword" system to help us find things on the internet!
