Harambee

Harambee is a Swahili word from Kenya and Tanzania. It means "coming together" or "all pull together". In Kenya, harambee is often used for everyone to come together to help out a person, family, or community in need. Harambee is when people join together to help out a person who is struggling in some way. People might come together to donate money or help out with a project. Together everyone works to help the person. When everyone works together, or harambee, they can make a big difference.
