Harold Beverage

Harold Beverage was a man who was really good at figuring out how to make things that people could use to send messages through the air. He was born a very long time ago in a place called Massachusetts in the United States.

When Harold was little, he was very curious and loved to tinker with things. He would take apart toys and gadgets just to see how they worked. This gave him a lot of experience in understanding how things were put together and how they could be improved.

As Harold grew up, he became interested in something called radio communication. This is when people send messages and audio through the air using radio waves. Back then, people had trouble sending messages over long distances, and Harold wanted to figure out a way to help with that.

So he started making things called antennas, which help to pick up radio waves and send them to a radio receiver. Harold was very good at making these antennas, and they became more and more popular as they helped people to communicate over longer distances.

In fact, the US government even used Harold's antennas during World War II to help communicate with soldiers who were far away. This was very important, as it helped the soldiers to stay connected with their base and receive important instructions.

So in summary, Harold Beverage was a really smart man who loved to make things. He figured out how to make antennas that helped people send messages through the air over long distances, which was really important during World War II.
