Hatchet Job of the Year

So sometimes, people write things about other people that are not very nice or fair. This is called a "hatchet job" because it's like they're chopping the person down with a big, mean hatchet.

Every year, some people give an award to the person who wrote the worst, meanest hatchet job of the year. It's kind of like picking the person who was the biggest bully.

Now, it's not very nice or fair to write mean things about others. We should always try to be kind and fair to others, even if we disagree with them.
