Haulage

Haulage is like moving things around from one place to another using big trucks called haulage trucks. It's like when you need to move your toys from your bedroom to the living room, but on a much, much bigger scale.

Sometimes, people or companies need to move really heavy or big things like furniture, boxes or even machines for factories from one place to another. They can't do it on their own, so they hire specially designed haulage trucks that can carry these heavy things easily.

These trucks are really big and strong, much bigger than the regular cars and trucks that you see on the road. They can handle carrying very heavy loads because they have really powerful engines and sturdy wheels.

Before the haulage trucks can take the things to the new place, they have to be loaded with the things that need to be moved. This means that people have to carefully load all the things onto the truck using special equipment so that nothing falls off or gets damaged on the journey.

Once the truck is loaded, the driver starts the engine and drives it to the new place. Sometimes, the journey can be very long and the driver has to be very careful when they drive to make sure that the load doesn't shift or fall off.

When the truck finally arrives at the new place, the things are carefully unloaded and put in their new home. This is called haulage – carefully moving things from one place to another with a big, strong truck.
