Haus Tambaran

Haus Tambaran is a special kind of building found in some parts of the world, mainly in the islands of New Guinea. It is a tall, brightly decorated house with a cone-shaped roof. Inside the house there is usually one or two big rooms with a raised platform around the walls for people to sit on. The walls and roof are usually decorated with carvings and colorful paintings, and the house is sometimes used for special ceremonies or dances.
