Risk is like playing a game. When you play a game, you take a chance that you might win or you might lose. In life, risk is something similar. Risk is about taking a chance that the outcome of something might be good or bad. For example, when you go to a new restaurant you take a risk that you will like the food or not. Taking a risk can be exciting, but it can also be dangerous, which is why we call it a “hazard”. Hazards are risks that can cause harm or danger. An example of a hazard might be walking near a busy street without looking both ways.
