ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Head badge

A head badge is like a name tag for a bike. It's usually a metal sticker or emblem that's attached to the front of the bike, right on the part where the handlebars go in. Just like how you have a name tag on your shirt to identify you, the head badge is there to identify which brand of bike you have.

The head badge usually has a special design, and it can tell you lots of things about your bike, like what company made it, where it was made, and even what year it was made in. So, if you see someone with a head badge that you recognize, you can say "Hey, you have a very cool [insert brand name here] bike!"

Overall, the head badge is just a cool little decoration on a bike that also tells you important information about it.
