Head end power

Head end power is like the magic that makes sure the train can have lights, air conditioning, and other stuff inside it. Think about how you have to plug in your tablet to charge it. Trains work the same way - they need power to work their engines and run stuff inside them. But how do you charge a train? That's where head end power comes in.

Imagine a big power plug that attaches to the train. This plug makes sure the train has electricity to run things like the lights and AC. This plug usually connects to a generator or a special kind of battery on the train. This way, the train can keep moving without having to stop at a station just to charge.

So, head end power is just a fancy term for power that is supplied to the train from an external source, rather than relying solely on the train's own energy sources. It helps trains have all the electricity they need to keep running smoothly and provide the best experience for passengers.
