Health inequality in the United Kingdom

Health inequality is a term used to describe the difference in health between people with different levels of access to healthcare and other important resources like money, education, and housing. In the United Kingdom, health inequality means that some people have better access to healthcare than others. This means that they may be able to access specialist treatments or see healthcare professionals more often than others. It can also mean that some people are more likely to get sick than others, even when both people have similar levels of income, education and housing. The UK government is trying to reduce health inequalities by improving access to healthcare for everyone. This includes making sure everyone has access to the same information about health and providing resources like food banks, housing support, and mental health services to people who need them.
