Heat spreader

Heat spreaders are like blankets, but for hot things. Heat spreaders help spread heat away from something that is producing it in order to keep it from getting too hot. They are used a lot in computers, which can produce a lot of heat, to help keep the parts inside the computer from getting too hot, which can cause them to break.
