Heavy metals are special types of metals that are very hard and heavy. They are different from other types of metals because they don't mix together easily and can be dangerous for us to be around because they can make us sick. Heavy metals are found in a lot of things like paint, batteries, and pipes. Some examples of heavy metals are lead, mercury, and arsenic.
