Hebrew Bible

The Hebrew Bible (also known as the Tanakh) is a collection of ancient texts written in Hebrew by Jewish people, thousands of years ago. It is made up of the Torah (five books; Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy) and the Prophets (books about the history, laws, and prophecies of the people of Israel) as well as other religious texts. The stories told in the Hebrew Bible have been an important part of Jewish culture for thousands of years and are still read by many people today.
