Hebrews

Hebrews are a group of people who were part of the ancient Israelites (an ancient group of people who lived in the Middle East thousands of years ago). They spoke a language called Hebrew and wrote it in a special alphabet called the Hebrew alphabet. Hebrew is still spoken by some people today and many of the world's major religions - like Christianity, Judaism and Islam - use the Hebrew alphabet to write their holy books.
