ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Height discrimination

Height discrimination means treating people differently based on how tall they are. Just like some people discriminate against others based on their skin color, gender, or religion, some people might also be biased against others who are shorter or taller than them. For example, some people might make fun of someone who is shorter than average, thinking that they are not as capable or impressive as someone who is taller. Others might assume that someone who is very tall must be good at sports or physically skilled, even if that is not necessarily true.

Discriminating based on someone's height is unfair because it has nothing to do with their abilities, skills, or character. It's just a physical trait that people are born with and can't change. Like having brown hair or blue eyes. Therefore, it is important to treat everyone with respect and kindness, regardless of their height.
