Helena Blavatsky

Helena Blavatsky was a Russian author and teacher in the late 1800s and very early 1900s. She is most famous for her book, The Secret Doctrine, which is a collection of teachings about the spiritual side of life. She believed that all religions had come from one original source, and that everyone could find their own spiritual path by learning from different religions and by acting with compassion. Blavatsky also believed in reincarnation, which is the idea that people can be born again into different lives in order to learn and grow. She also taught about things called "elementals," or spirits that live in nature. She wanted people to understand the spiritual side of life, and be kind to each other and the world around them.
