Helena Roerich was a Russian artist, writer, and spiritual leader who lived from 1879 to 1955. She was the co-founder of the Agni Yoga Society, which was founded to promote Roerich’s spiritual teachings. She wrote books about spiritualism and wrote paintings that were inspired by her spiritual beliefs. Her work also focused on themes of peace, nature, and Eastern culture. She also founded the International Center for Culture and was an advocate for protecting culture, art, and education.
