ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Heligimbal

Imagine you have a toy helicopter that you want to fly. But when you try to make it go up or down, it shakes and wobbles a lot. That's not very fun or safe, right?

Now imagine that instead of just holding onto the helicopter with your hands, you have a special tool that keeps it steady while you move it around. This tool is called a heligimbal.

Basically, a heligimbal is a device that holds a camera or other equipment steady while it's attached to a drone or helicopter. It has little motors that move the camera around smoothly and without any jitters or bumps.

So when people use a drone to take pictures or videos, they often use a heligimbal to make sure the footage is steady and looks good. It's like having a super steady hand to hold your camera while you fly your drone around.
